About Meg & Emily

Meg and I have had the incredible good fortune to start traveling early in life. Our first international trip to Italy took place when I was just six years old and Meg was eight and we continued to go almost every year until adulthood. Our mother taught us the importance of experiencing different cultures and lifestyles through extensive travel, always with the guidance of a Rick Steves book!

Unfortunately, we lost our mother in 2019 to cancer. We knew we needed to keep traveling to honor her memory, and our first trip together without her was the Best of Istanbul in 7 Days Tour last year.

Though we have been many places over the years, neither of us had gone as far east as Turkey before, or planned a trip without her help. We decided to take the hassle out of the process by booking the tour and off we went!
